Re: .22 mag tracer ammo?
The 22 WMR (or magnum) ammunition does not come in tracer form. You can not safely shoot 22 Long Rifle (LR), Long or Shorts out of this gun either as the chamber dimensions of the the 22 mag are larger in diameter. this could lead to split cases and gases escaping in directions that could harm the shooter as well as damage to the gun. The only ammunition meant to be fired in your gun is 22 WMR/mag. There is an obsolete round that is occasionally still produced called the 22 Winchester Rimfire (WRF) or the 22 Remington Special (same case, different bullet styles) that can be fired in the 22 mag but that is it. Another point is that one cannot reload rimfire rounds, or at least not very easily, reliably, and certainly not inexpensively. If you could even find the priming compound, getting it spread into the rim would be problematic as would be cleaning out the residue and removing the old firing pin dent. It would also be a bit difficult to find bullets that would expand at the low velocities the 22 mag delivers, even those meant for the 22 Hornet are much too tough for the magnum.
