I won't be waiting that long ... Perhaps we (what ,at least 3 of us here are I"in the area") should make an efort to meet up and hit the grass lands some time this winter?

I live here in Sterling and was just wondering if any of you guys can tell me where I can go to practice my calling? Would close too the river work or should I be looking more into the country fields? I'm not looking to kill any just yet as I'm waiting on my rifle but I would like to carry my 9mm just in case.

I would just set up in a field and start calling. I'm sure you will find out pretty quick if you can call them in.

Worked up my new load for my 243 and went to the range yesterday to dial it in.
I switched from a 75gr Vmax to a 55gr Nosler Ballistic tip.

42grns of Varget with a 200yd zero - had 6 rounds touching out of my Remington Model 660 carbine.

Cant wait!
