I rarely find standard 6's but yes and they are great (in this unusual spot.) The problem is that it is VERY tight and ducks will drop straight down though cat tails into a creek that is probably 15'wide. The problem is that you have to let them drop down below the tips of the tails otherwise if you shoot they will drop into the tails which are brutally thick. So the shots are often in feet not yards. Sounds good right? That's until they drop in 20-30 yards up the creek and then buzz eye level at a billion miles an hour. When a teal comes by it's like front row at NASCAR, not a chance.

Sounds like for my applications, regular steel 6 won't work too well. Thanks for the info!

You may have already read it, but hntnnut, on the other thread, pointed out that the 935 is designed for 3 and 3.5 shells. This is the first mag shot gun that I'm aware of that isn't designed for 2.75 shells. The internet is littered with people still firing 2.75s through it. Anyway, here's an excerpt from the owners manual from Mossy....

".930 Models: are designed to fire 12 gauge 2 3/4" factory loaded shotshells and
3" factory loaded magnum shells.

935 Models: are designed to fire 12 gauge 3" or 3 1/2" factory loaded shotshells
only. Do not fire slugs of any type (single projectile ammunition) through the overbored

935 Accu-Mag barrel. This barrel is designed to shoot lead or steel pellet shotshells
only. Use only 935 barrels designated specifically for slug shooting."

I use 3inch #2's for most waterfowl hunting. I have went to using it for pheasant too b/c I hunt marsh areas where there are occassional ducks and geese and so I can shoot whatever I see in regards to pheasants, ducks, geese, and even fall turkey.
