Default Colorado Coyotes

I was wondering if anyone could help me finding a good coyote spot to hunt yotes in Colorado. Within 2 hours or so of Denver. I went out a few times last year and managed to get a few but not exactly what I was looking for. Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Brian

It's just like anything else. Pick an area, drive around and knock on doors. The downside to this is approach is that alot of decent areas are locked in by family members only and getting permission requires an act of god. Sometimes it works.....sometimes it doesn't.

That's what I figured, have you guys heard or hunted the national grasslands? I'm sure they get hunted pretty hard.

If so , the pressure has not impacted the yotes teribly .... On any given day you WILL see yotes just driving around. If you stop sneek and call I bet you'll be pleasantly suprized.

Nope, never the Pawnee..........practically all of my dog control hunts have been out near Kiowa or Sterling / Brush area and I've always been fortunate to be someone's guest.

The key is to find cattle, especially in the winter.
Ranchers feed the cattle hay, mice are in the hay. Yotes also like to chew on frozen cow crap as it has proteins and minerals passed thru the cow.

Calving season is golden...

PS
The Pawnee gets hammered...

These are all called in fur...

Isn't that simply the south east corner of the grass land? I'm not sure where it ends ... I live up on the table just east of it ... not sure how far, but not far. You can forget the "grazing association" land, they never say yes, but there are no shortages of other land owners that will say yes. They'll even direct you to pretty good area's.
