My buddy Steve's best. I found a great spot on a main lake point and we ice fished it. This fish was one of a quadruple (four flags up!) at high noon.http://i332.photobucket.com/albums/m...7/PICT1349.jpg

So far my biggest has been 3 30 inchers. A fishing buddy and I go up opening week in May to Ontario to a camp on Cedar Lake that over the years has produced numerous 30 plus inch walleyes for us. His biggest was a 34 incher that he entered into the North American Fishing Club catch and release contest. He caught one last year though tha I think would have beaten that one. I have never seen a walleye with the girth that big girl had last year. Unfortunately no camera and no photos. We dont keep any trophies. I have a 28 inch/8 1/2 lber on the wall so I dont need any more mounted fish.

This lake is getting famous for its large musky population. A few years back they raised the minimum size limit on muskies from 40 to 54 inches. And my personal best was a 53 incher 7 years ago.

My buddy is from Dayton Ohio and I am from Owensboro Kentucky. We are always looking for other die hard fishermen who would want to go up in May with us. The lake is easy to fish as we normally fish the river system between Cedar and Perrault Lakes. If you are interested in going let me know and we can swap email addresses. Make sure to bring a buddy though as 3 in a boat is too many and 2 is just right.

Be sure to stock up on circle hooks as we use minnows for bait and the big girls love to hammer them and we have found circle hooks make for quicker releases back into the water. Also make sure to bring a camera. Lots of fish and lots of wildlife. And the boats are comforatble and the best fishing is within 15 minutes of the camp.
