I was out fishing last week on the Taqwhomenon River in Michigan near the Dollerville Dam, if any of you know where that is, and I saw the biggest sucker of my life. I know it was just a sucker but it had to be 35 inches and at least fifteen pounds. It was definitely a state record fish.

Obsessed, can remember fishing the spreads on the T. Usually trout but I remember catching a couple of small suckers. Fun. I have caught a few suckers in the 2-4 lb range. We use to try and catch a few and we would set them out in a bay on Big Manistique Lake and watch the eagles swoop in for a meal. Flatcoat.

I know where you were at!
Interesting fish you saw. Absolutely sure it was a sucker and not a big carp?
Lots of muskies in that river...
