Hi-
Your posts were deleted for the same reason as Scuba Steve.
One would think you would get the point.
Yes - free speech is a wonderful thing. And, be aware that what you say, does have consequences.
And, from the user agreement:
"The owners reserve the right to remove, edit, move or close any thread for any reason."
Consider this your warning - keep your postings productive and friendly.
Fighting, inflammatory remarks, swearing, etc - won't be tolerated.
If you have questions regarding this forum, feel free to contact me directly.
Thanks-

First of all the first amendment has nothing to do with this forum. The first amendement was created so people can freely voice thier oponions on political and religous matters, not so people can insult people on a privately owned web forum.

Umm Viking I Think The First Ammendment Has Everything To Do With This Forum. The First Ammendment Was Created So Stuff Like This Wouldn't Happen. So The Little Man Wouldn't Be Pushed Around And Forced Into Views And Beliefs That He Didnt Share. And As For My Comments Being Deleted. That Is Totally Ridictulus Never Once In All My Posting Did I Swear, Never Once In My Posting Did I Make Inflamitory Remarks. Point In Case When I Posted A Reply To The 270 For Caribou Thread I Was Nothing But Helpful. I Gave The Other User Some Advise That Was Very Helpful Yet That Post Was Deleted. Then When I Posted About Dove Hunting I Simply Told How My First Dove Hunt Of The Season Went. Yet It Was Deleted. Then About The Fact That The 1st Ammendment Doesn't Apply To Privatly Owned Property As Viking Said I Do Believe That Is The Most Outragous Claim I Have Ever Heard In My Entire Life. If The 1st Ammendment Doesn't Apply Of Private Property That Means No Other Laws And Right Given To Us By The Costitution Apply. And If We Use Vikings Logic That Means I Can Do Whatever I Want On My Own Private Property Without Repercusions From The Law. I Really Don't Know Why I Even Bother To Write This Post Because It Will Probably Just Get Deleted Any Way. But I Just Share The Same Hope Our Founding Fathers Had That This Dream Will Not Die With Me Getting Kicked Out Of This Forum. Because I Say Today Give Me Freedom Of Speech Or Kick Me Out. And If I Get Kicked Out I Will Fight This Because Quite Frankly I Feel This Is A Total Outrage.

P.s. I Am A Trail Lawyer And I Am Not Afraid To Take This To Court.

PhilT-
I'm not sure you understand how this all works...
Nobody is out to get you... I think you forget that you gave a nice dose of advice, then back-handed with a comment about how poor someone's shooting was. Nevertheless, you have a history that has followed you and ScubaSteve from the old forums where there were some problems. Those problems have been brought to my attention, and with the best interest of the rest of this community in mind - I am here to make sure this place is a welcome environment for all.
With that said - yes you have free speech. Does that mean you can post ads for Viagra? No. Does that mean you can swear? No. Does that mean you will be allowed to make inflammatory comments that may impact other customers? No.
The use of this forum is not something that comes without responsibility... You'll have to play by the rules or not play at all. That is where your speech freedoms end.
When you signed-up, you agreed to them.
If you care to start over and give this another run - I think we'll all agree that you probably have some useful knowledge to share.
Here's your invitation to a fresh start. Let's make the best of this forum and have some fun, get along and get back to hunting and fishing!
Kind regards-
--Jeff

Trial lawyer or not you need to realize that this is a privately owned forum. Would you allow a political candidate that you do not support put a sign in your yard? No you wouldn't and you have the freedom to make that decision because that is your property just like this forum is Cabela's property, So play nice

Philt-
I saw the post in question before it got deleted and I will say that it took quite a bit of restraint on my part not to flame right back at you. After I cooled off a bit, I thought it sounded a bit like the joking I will do with my hunting buddies. Seeing as how you're not one of my buddies though, I totally agree with it being deleted. If you want to joke around, that's fine. I'm all for it. But it needs be kept light-hearted.
Like the moderator, I'm willing to give you a second shot here too. Your Chuckar posting is exactly the kind of thread this forum needs.

I have a confession. I and Spin4Trout are good hunting/fishing buddies. We also like to have some fun by kidding with each other on the forum. Our posts have created some good discussions. Just for the record I don't think spinfishing for trout is poaching or that you should mount a scope using piece of carboard wedged between the scope rings and the scope.
I would hope that this forum does allow for some clean debate on controversial issues. I would also like to think we could have some fun with things. There are lots of issues that threaten the future of sportsmen and I hope this forum would allow for some discussion of these issues. After all, without hunting/fishing, cabela's wouldn't exist.
Now all we need is a thread on hunting access on private land to get things going......
(Oops, I forgot I could lease land through cabelas.....)

I understand your concern, but nowhere has your issue come into play with any of this. We are talking about inflammatory postings.
We'll have plenty of subjects we can debate - some will be controversial, at least I hope. From that comes deep conversation and ideas get exchanged.
Please don't confuse this issue with what might be deemed an allowable topic. If we keep things clean and keep away from personal attacks - we'll all have fun.
Thanks-

Go ahead - start the thread on Public access ground - it's a good one to start some discussion about. I'll wait for you to make the first post. =^)

Well boys and girls, philt and i have a pact with Jeff that we are only going to offer our professional insight, not our slams and degrading remarks. Lets all get ready for a fruticious and faralaxical hunting season.

The first ammendment deals specifically with the government shutting you up. It has nothing to do with a private organisation setting rules of conduct in a private forum.
I am sure that as a "trial lawyer" you have had many hours of education and understand this thoroughly.

Nice to see some modest people here. Unlike other forums I participate in.
