Can we also ask about a fish jerky recipe too? I had a really good one about twenty years ago and have lost it. It was real simple and used bluegill filets.

I have tried some of the prepared jerky recipes and have had some success. A friend has a recipe that uses some Maker's Mark - be careful and do not eat this stuff if you are at work or on the road!

I usualy start with a soy,worchestire sauce base then add garlic salt,pepper and any other spices that you may like(can flavor to your own tasteget creativeand add what ever you like(catsup,honey,bbq sauce) have fun with it.....

I just use the packets from WalMart. Made some regular flavored beef the other day actually. Good stuff!
