season opened sept. 22 morning hunt saw one buck (not sure of the size but did have a small rack) just before it was light enough to shoot then had 2 doe with fawns come in and play under my stand for 5-10 min then one lone doe shortly there after. end of morning hunt. evening hunt not too good only seen lil 3 point buck at about 200 yrds just as my fiber optics in my pins had went ka-put. did have a bobcat walk by though. morning of the 23 saw the 2 does with fawns and thats it. no evening hunt (wife went out with the girls to a concert so i had to watch the kids) dang the luck. morning of the 24 rain and lots of it ( sounds like a good reason to go to cabelas ) eve. hunt on the 24 saw 4 doe early in the hunt, just as dark was sitting in here come the bucks all 7 of them. 2 very nice ones. had 2 of the smaller ones rattleing horns and playing around within 20 yrds one of the big boys came down from the beans and walked right under my stand by now all he was was a shadow on the ground. i sat there for anouther hour whating for them to leave so i could get out without them knowing i was there. thursday friday and sat. had to work back in the stand monday morning the 29 had the same 3point come by and 6 doe. back to work. sliped out of work 1 hr early and hi the stand (working nights) the baro. pressure was on the way up and i couldn't take it i had to hunt, deer were everywere it seemed all does. back to work wends. night thurs day night the 2 of oct right at dark the bucks came out only 5 this time but the 2 big ones were in the bunch but never got closer than 150 yrds. friday morn the 3 oct. had 4 doe under the stand for 10 min or so no bucks now im back on days at work and work 12 hr shifts6-6 so i wont be back out till oct 9. i have found that the bucks are starting to make scrapes and i have about 5 new rubs near one of my stands. its coming i know it there starting to get territorial and it only feeds my fire. hope to have my buck for team 21 soon but for now all i can do is sit and wait. good luck too all this season
