Just got back from a nice camping / fishing / caving / four wheeling trip to Lead Mine state forest in Missouri. I am not into ATV's but the others in the group were. They have made this trip several times in the past with no incidents. This year we were approached by a MCD warden and asked if we had been riding the ATV in the park. The owner of the ATV got a ticket, and we locked the ATV up for the remainder of the stay. I have nothing but nice words and compliments for the way the officer handled the situation as he could have written all of us up except myself for the offenses ( I never rode the darn thing inside the park - was too busy fishing!) , and the owner was only 20 and had a couple of beers as well after dark. I guess that even if there are not signs restricting the use of 4 wheelers where you go, it is a good thing to read all regs first. Good luck KS
