Does anyone have a good 2 way radio for traveling 8 - 10 hours a day to use for a driver and passenger to communicate while on a motorcycle in our helmets. They would need to have instant talk and listen, no buttons to press to communicate, plus have noise cancelling ability for open face helmets, Thank You in advance.

Here's an answer from our product specialist:
For the radio I would recommend the Midland Bubba H20 GXT881VP4 Radio
Pack (product #228656), it runs on rechargeable batteries (included) or on 4 AA's
and will resist moisture if encountered. You can add to that the
Midland AVPH1 Open Face Helmet mic (product #228078), this is preferably Push to
talk but since the Radio has VOX on it, the Vox (when activated) will
override the push to talk. Interferance is possible when trying to use
this at the VOX setting on certain motorcycles. Midland recommends
using the Push to Talk feature which can be mounted to handlebars. So,
it will work "Totally" hands free, but problems may occur depending on
bike noise. Hope this helps.

I am looking for the most efficient way to talk back and forth to a passenger without spending a few hundred dollars for new helmets made for intercom. I do not have a lighter plug in for power at all, so batteries or re-chargable will likely be my choice. I will look into the model listed and see how it hooks up on Friday on my way through Germantown.
