Has anybody on here ever used them or have any experience with them? I was thinking of getting them for my coyote rifle (Savage .223, heavy barrel). Would you recommend getting them or just get a bipod?

I've heard these things are very noisy. I bought a versa-pod for my Savage model 10 pred. in 223. It has deployable legs that are just right for me when sitting. It also pivots a little side to side. Very happy with it.

Honestly, i've seen them and they look really flimsy. Just another great have to have gadget from the same guys that came out with the cough silencer/ For that kind of money, i'll go with the snipe pod or versa pod.

Harris bipod. Doesn't add that much weight-especially to a varmint rifle that's already heavy. Rock-solid.

I got a set on my muzzleloader and they have worked great.Helps to make a more accurate shot .Have used them from the ground and from tree stand with good success.
Going to be on my NEF 45-70 for my black bear hunt next month.
On my 243 antelope / prairie dog rifle ,I use a Harris Bipod.

Exactly right. Get a harris bipod really hard to beat.
