I wouldn't go releasing that kind of information! LOL...it's like jynxing yourself! Happened to me last year. I was on a 190"+ whitetail...let's just say I couldn't close the deal after I let everyone know about him. It was like I put my cart ahead of the horse! I came close....but just couldn't get er done.

Young Gun 22, The .257 Sniper,

I went hunting yesterday evening and had a good hunt.
I didn't shoot anything but had a great time.
I saw 24 deer in total, 1 buck that was young he wouldn't have weighed 100 lbs.
All of these deer came within 40 yards of me very exciting.

Friday 8/22/08 I shot and killed 2 wild hogs.
One weighed 105lbs. and the other 325lbs.
Both were boars, I hope to get the chance to go again Labor day weekend.

Did you just get your 257? I had always wanted a 257Weatherby and finally purchased one 2 years ago. I have shot six deer with it in the past two years(no monsters) and love it. I do suggest you stay away from the Nosler BST for medium to large game. I don't reload yet...... but the factory Partions and the Barnes TSX have worked very well.

Yes I did just get it a few weeks ago. I have 1 box of the factory hornady 100gr. SP and 3 boxes of the factory loaded Barnes TSX. I plan on using the 100gr. SP for break-in and rough sight in and then dial in the 100gr TSX and go hunting I hope LOL!!!
