muzzleloader in WA

This is sort of a continuation of wecoyotes thread, but more general. My hunting partener got a special permit that allows him to hunt muzzleloader and modern rifle here in Washington - East side. I am assisting him in doing research and plan to accompany him hunting as we are both to dang old to be out there alone. Finding a muzzleloader that is legal in Wa is a little bit tricky. The Knight Bighorn is an obvious one, but I would be interested in others also - I plan to buy one also and deer hunt. I have been told that the TC Black Diamond is a good choice but don't find info on TC website. Thanks in advance - looking for modern type muzzleloader.

I called my old classmate out in Washington to look at the game regs and see if we can get a permit. I just bought the knight bighorn for my son who lives in Washington. My buddy has an older TC 54 cal that shoots under 2" at 100 yds. I also have a ruger M77 that never shot under 5" at 100yds until the hornady sst sabots came out but I can't use those in Washington. I have ordered some cabelas dead center 300gr sabots. They have good reviews and are unjacketed lead. Hopefully I can work up a load.

Update - I have confirmed that C/T is no longer producing the Black Diamond. They are still available locally in stores. Between the Knight Bighorn and the T/C Black Diamond, which one should I choose? Price is pretty close.

Look at CVA. I bought one for my friend and is a very nice inexpensive muzzleloader.

Thanks - I almost got that one also (buckhorn). My hunting buddy and I decided to go for the Traditions pursuit LT West which is a break-open action. 26" barrel and nickle - a little more expensive but not to bad at 250. They have not come in yet so can't comment on how it shoots.
