Hey everyone,
I just finished my first Deer antler ball starter I am pretty proud of it. Seemed to take forever to find a shed with the right size and tine pitch to use after that it was just a lot of sanding and grinding. I still cant get used to that bone smell, just like at the dentist office. Now I have my set complete a powder horn, priming horn, buckskin bag, ball board, ball bag, and now my starter. Does anyone else mess around with this stuff at all. I would really like to may some buckskins to wear but my fingers were sore enough after making that bag. Thanks for listening,

Try these two sites. Lots of people on there that make their own stuff. In my case, I like a nicely made horn or knife but have found out I can't build one for beans so I try and make friends with people who can.
