Started out with a 3-9 scope to get a good load worked up.No problem! First effort was the 348 Powerbelt and 90 grains of Triple seven. After getting the scope zeroed in ,this rifle was shooting 1 1/2 inch group at 100 yrds.
Took off the scope ,because in Colorado you must use iron or open sights durring the muzzy season.I started out at 50 yards 4 shots right in the 3 inch bull with out any sight adjustment, this thing is accurate right from the factory. Went to 100 yards and shot a 5 inch group ,which is good for me with my eyes and open sights.
Get a Willams peep sight for it that will make it more accuate and easier to aquire the target. I loved mine but for Michigan hunting a VXII 2-7x33mm is what it wears. If I hunt some where scopes arn't legal it would go right back on.

I took the scope off my Omega and put on an EOtech Holographic sight. I
had too many problems in cold weather trying to get a gloved thumb between
the rear of the scope and the hammer. A larger hammer with a side extension,
like on the Encore, would be a welcome addition to the Omega.

Rooster, I just happened onto this thread. How did the peep sight work out?
I have an Omega too but right now I've got a 2 1/2 power scope on it. What model Williams fits the Omega?

The peep sight works great.I bought it thru Cabelas.I am better with the scope ,but it does good with the peep sight. It i a lot better than with open sights.Shooting 295 gr. Powerbelts and 90 gr of Triple 7,I can get about a 5 inch group with the peep sight at 100 yards. The front sight covers the bulls eye at that distance,so it is hard to be more accurate. It definatly will work good for hunting.
The same peep that fit the Encore was the one I used for th Omega.I went right to Cabelas and tried it ,so I knew it wood fit.
