Anyone have any problem with the CVA Kodiak ? I just bought 2 of them from a man that said he was getting rid of them, just had to many misfires. I just shot both of them 30-35 times and no problems, very accurate. Just wanting to know if anyone has any probems with these rifles.

It is really the same gun as the Winchester Apex. I owned one of them and never had a misfire in over 100 shots. I think they are a very decent gun I just have got a thing about Knights so I sold mine and bought another Knight.

Is the misfires from a bad primer? Ask if they were dented. I have had a few bad primers.

Rooster, Be careful with those 225's. 80g FFFg Triple7 is Maximum charge on those for deer. Anything over and they will come right apart.
Heres some pictures of the deer i shot with the 225 powerbelt and 80g fffg triple7.

With a lung shot i think you could go up to 90g t7 but i just don't know if it would be safe or not. Hopefully i'll have an answer by next month.
