If you can hunt at night with a light, what moon phase do you feel is the best one to hunt and why?

I guess nobody hunts predators at night? So I'll just give my own opinion on the subject lol. You can call in predators under any moon phase, but by far the best moon to hunt them on is a new moon or close to it.
If you've done alot of night hunting you'll know when the moon comes up the action usually slows down. Or the other way around, If the moon goes down the action usually picks up.
The moon has alot to do with all kinds of hunting and fishing and it affects predator hunting as well. Some states allow night hunting but with no lights? In that case a full moon would be best.
The Western states that do allow night hunting let you use lights thank God. Out west you could call in a bear or a lion and I'd sure wanna see it coming lol. Your thoughts?

I'd like to know whos the rocket scientist that came up with the idea thats its ok to shoot at things at night without the use of a light. Doesn't that seem a little strange to you?

beeell, some of the people that make up the rules don't hunt, they don't have a clue. You could say they are in the dark so to speak.
