I know the larger part of you gentlemen are in-line shooters, but muzzleloaders are muzzleloaders down deep. We have just received a beautiful early English fowler in 28 gauge at Cabela's Lehi store that I thought you may enjoy seeing.
Caywood Gunmakers
Right hand English fowler pattern with a premium wood upgrade. This gun is finished with the old tobacco stain and multiple coats of hand rubbed oil finish that you have read about, brass furniture engraved, built in 28 gauge smoothbore. Many additional options have been added to this beautiful fowler; a finely figured piece of wood with curl throughout, teardrop lock panel carvings, sling swivels, handmade oak tanned sling, tuned lock, enlarged vent hole and trigger assembly, rear sight and correct markings for an early English fowler.
Enjoy watching the Photobucket slide show. I think it will be available on the Lehi Gun Library site later this week!
