i think this will be a good site as questions pertaining to powerbelts. been shooting p/b`s since before they were called powerbelts. they`ve always been "charge sensitive" but are very accurate with right charge. used to shoot 348grn. lead with 90grn.loose american pioneer but switched to 295grn.jacketed aerotip with 90grn. loose amer.pioneer, out of rem.700 m/l. have had no accuracy, penetration or blood trail problem when deer hunting but i almost always go for heart-lung shot if possible. same shot when using prb. out of t/c hawkins. purchased encore pro hunter , am using 250grn. t/cshockwaves with 150 grns amer.pioneer. rifle scoped with nikon omega bdc scope. want to stay with 150grn. powder charge for scope bdc purposes. tried 248grn.powerbelts with 150grn. powder. no accuracy at 100yds. i suppose to much char ge . to bad cause i really like powerbelts.
