new muzzel loader

I was given a new muzzel loader for christmas, a Kentucky rifle kit by Traditions. This is my first time to build one. I'm pretty handy with wood ,I build furniture for a hobby wondering how hard is going to be to do this. any imput from anyone would be great.

If you build furniture, I doubt you will any any problems. Just take your time. If you totally mess up, you can always burn the evidence and get a new gunstock blank and start again.

If you look down through history you'll find many of the fine long gun rifle builders where furniture builders first and gun smithing was a second source of income. So with your experience with hand tools and putting things together there should be few problems. Just take your time and pay attention to the little details, you have a wealth of information at hand with the Internet and its "search" tools.
