You that muzzy hunt in states that do not allow scopes, what type of sights do you use? I just purchased two sets of Williams WGRS Peep Sights for my rifles.
Had a Knight with one of these sights on it ,but sold it a few years ago,but I did like the sight. Also liked the rifle ,very accurate with conicals, just had to many rifles,at least that is what I thought then?

Rooster, I have a Williams peep on my TC Renegade. I've had it on there so long that I don't remember what model it is. It works very well, much more precise than open sights. I usually leave the aperture disc screwed in, but it's personal preference. It's probably faster with it out but maybe not as precise.

I just got my Muzzleloader barrel today fitted to my NEF ultra rifle from H&R .I am putting a Bushnell scope on it to find the best bullet/powder load for it ,then removing the scope and putting a peep sight on it for hunting.
Can't wait till a nice day to go and shoot.
Also got a 45-70 barrel fitted to this rifle.
Both barrels, primer carriers and a new fore arm in laminate $212 including all shipping, what a great deal!

I like a tang or peep sight for the longer shots over most other sights including a scope. If you wear glasses your probably the same, I waste a lot of time getting on the target with a scope. The tang or peep sight is there now, just like the iron sights. I talk to a lot of hunters on my job and many have the same problem with glasses and not getting a clear or fast picture with a scope. I recommend trying the Lyman Tang sight or the Williams Peep sight, so far everyone I have talked to are pleased with the results. Good Products from an old firms.
