I have two beautiful handmade knives that were made for me several years ago. Does any one here know of someone that is reputable enough for me to send my knives to them to have custom leather sheaths made?

I don't know anyone specifically but I do know they're out there. You may want to get a copy of the magazine "knife" or check out some of the websites specializing in knives. There's some true craftsmen out there. Sorry I can't reccomend a specific person, but I know you'll find someone if you look.

You might check with a local shop that does leather work on sadles. Even thou they don't advertise, they would have the equipment needed for the seams. Just whether there is a craftsman there that can or wants to do the work. I needed a custom sheath a couple years ago and was surprised to find that the owner of a leather and shoe repair place would do the work for me as he enjoyed that type of work if I wasn't in a hurry. He has since retired.

Thats not a bad idea, I was looking for maybe the lace up the side style. Both knives were made from sheds I found and old files for the blades.

Find a copy of the book Knives 2008 or 2007. They have directories that will be a big help to you.
