I've been seeing a lot or posts on various sites about the 325wsm and thought I'd add my story for anyone thinking about buying one of the guns built around this awsome cartridge.
I bought a Winchester Coyote Lite Stainless - ordered last winter and finally got one of the first in Alaska in June of this year.
In the process of breaking in the barrel and sighting in my Leupold 3.5X10X50 scope, shot an entire box of 220graing factory ammo through it. My last three shots were at our 240 yard target and they went into less than an inch. This gun shoots like a dream and the round in incredibly accurate. I'm not a big guy and the recoil doesn't bother me. In fact, my 300 win mag kicks harder than this gun and it wears a muzzle break to tame it's recoil now.
I took it on my moose hunt this fall and in October, shot a moose at 254 yard (measured with a laser range finder). The moose went over like a metal competition target plate with one shot.
My hunting and shooting partners have been so impressed with the mild recoil and superb accuracy that two of them have bought guns chambered for the round and love them.
I know Wichnester has a winner here and am looking forward to taking this on a spring bear hunt in about 4 months.
Good Hunting
