Which is better for round ball in a flint lock, a 48 twist or the 66? Also, I have a big problem with the Plastic Fiber Optic front sights. Even though they are dovetailed, the top half falls out of the mount. What can I do to fix this?

1 in 66 is what you wan't. 1 in 66 is made for shooting round balls. 1 in 48 twist is used mainly for conical bullets but it can shoot a round ball fairly good. A conical would not shoot very well in a gun with 1 in 66 twist.
