Look under youth bows, then find the Sparrowhawk 2. Depending on you're draw length, that'll work.

okay, thank yall
Take a look at the Reflex Excursion Bow on the Cabela's Website. It's a great bow and is available in a 40-50 lb. draw weight. Good hunting!

Look at the PSE deerhunter it can be set to 40 ,50 0r sixty. I purchased one early this summer and I think it is a really good bow its about 200 dollars for the kit. I havent taken it into the feild but I was able to hit the kill zone on a target 50 yards away right out of the box. -Eric

Hi
I am new to bow hunting and also to this forum. I would like to know what is the least draw weight you can use to deer hunt and be able to kill a deer. My bow is set at 65 lbs and I have to struggle to pull it back. Can I hunt at lesser draw weight and be successful in killing a deer. Also if I am hunting from a tree stand how high should I be? I have a 12 foot ladder stand would that not be high enough? Thanks!!!!! Gil

Hi Gil , 12 foot high should be high enough. you are just trying to get your smell and movements to a place you won't alert the animal, and get a better view . in the fall season if you get to high you will have to look through the tree leaves . as far as a good draw weight goes I think pennsylvania has a 45 lbs min. if you are having trouble drawing it, back it off some.while hunting you don't know how long you will have to hold it for the perfect shot or let it down, and draw again, so make it easy. I have my bow set at 52lbs. I took a buck this year with it.it was a pass through shot.I hit it back a little but it still went down in about 80 to 100 yards. years ago my dad and I thought you had to have these set to the max. he now has two bad elbows . back the thing off and make it fun. thats what its all about. remember one good hit is better than a couple poor hits . hope I helped Jim

The min. draw weight is set by most states. In Washington it is 40#. Look in your state reg.'s to find out what it is. If you can't find it call your local game office.
