Federal Fusion

I realize they're really new, but has anyone use federal fusions to hunt yet? Shoot better in my .308 BLR than any other factory load, but haven't hunted with them yet. Good price for a "premium" bullet.

Excellent bullet. I shot a moose with a 185 grain in a 30.06. It put a hurtin' on that 1,100 bull.

I bought a box of federal fusion for gun deer season in wisconsin. there was one bad shell in the box that ended up breaking the stock on my gun. (TC Encore 300 win mag) i noticed on the empty brass that the primer was blown out and that the cone was shaped different than all the others in the box as i had saved the brass. Now im assuming that the bullet didnt fit into the chamber correctly because it was mis-shaped and therefore fired wrong and blew the primer which made the gun kick much much harder and broke the stock.
