I recently bought some new tires for my wheeler because 2 of them kept going flat no matter what I did. So I scoured the internet to find new ones and by all the luck I won some on ebay. We put them on and that was now light task. My dad lost a little blood when we were breaking the beads and the hammer slipped. Bolted everything up on Saturday and took it for a spin. Wow what a difference its like driving a differnt wheeler entirely. Has anyone else have this happen with differnt tires? I am thinking of putting a 2 inch lift kit in it also so its easier to get through the woods during deer season. Has anyone else done this and is it worth it?

I went from 25" tires to 27" mudlites on my cat 700, I really notice the extra inch of ground clearance. I use mine year round and we get some good snowfall, I can ride thru about 2-3 feet of powder or about 15 inches of packed snow. Tires make a huge difference, my quad fells like driving a mini monster truck, it just plows right over things.

I installed underbody armor and some studded snow tires on my old suzuki quad. Made a huge difference in the snow. Bigger tires help to overcome obstacles. Having the right tire pressure makes a big difference too. Not only it effects the size of the tire contact patch, but also lower pressures actually absorbs into thing like rocks and branches. Just tire pressure alone on trucks make a huge difference. If you drive very fast, do not underinflate the tire. But, if you get stuck let out like 30-50% of the pressure.
I mainly stick to the s10 blazer these days over the quads.
