Posted these over on the AOBS thread, thought maybe more of you would like to see them:

Below shots are from up in North Park, CO:
Scenery shots of the area, all from our campsite:

Dam and spillway for the reservoir, thought it was kind of cool looking, must be a 50 foot "slide", kids thought it looked like fun until they saw the bottom!!

Just a little bit up the road was another camp area at the base of The Crags. Pretty impressive peaks:

Old log cabin:

The area we were in is called the moose capital of CO, think someone told me the herd is somewhere around 600 strong. We saw them on 4 or 5 different occasions, and most times I had the camera handy!!
Cow and her two calves:

Lone moose walking in the water:

The 8 of us were fishing this small lake (my family and my sister's family), of course I was busy taking care of everyones lines, when my wife starts to stutter, she finally spit out what she was trying to say and we looked up and not 100 yards from us was this moose, just walking along the edge of the water, didn't care one bit what we were up to!!:
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/North%20Michigan%20Reservoir/DSC_0177.jpg
Same moose, thought this pic was kind of cool with the moose in the background and a trout rising on the water:
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/North%20Michigan%20Reservoir/DSC_0179.jpg
We pulled up to an area that overlooked prime moose habitat. I jumped out of the truck first with the camera to take a look. I spotted this guy bedded down (he's behind the tree, body to the right of the tree, piece of antler to the left):
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/North%20Michigan%20Reservoir/DSC_0099.jpg
I took the above photo, then I called my wife and kids over and told them to be quiet. I gave a small little whistle to see if he would perk up so we could see him better. Worked perfectly as he stood up to look around (and had no idea where we were):

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/North%20Michigan%20Reservoir/DSC_0100.jpg
Not 10 seconds after I had given my little whistle to get him up, the kids and wife forgot I told them to be quiet and decided they would try their best "moose call"!!! Safe to say they forgot they weren't at the zoo!!! He heard there "calls" and quickly decided he was going to relocate!! Here he vanishes into the woods never to be seen again by us!!:

Eagle soaring above us:

This poor hummingbird could not figure out why he couldn't get anything from this "flower":

These photos are from our camping trip last week, just south of Rocky Mountain National Park:

Campsite- one of the best I've had the pleasure of calling home. We were nice and secluded, had our own little creek running through the back of camp, with numerous beaver ponds beyond that:
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/Camp%20Dick/DSC_0449-1.jpg
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/Camp%20Dick/DSC_0055-1.jpg

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/Camp%20Dick/DSC_0051.jpg

We were in a cloud for 2 solid days. Here are a few of what our view was restricted to:

And then it started to break:

Drove up to Brainard Lake one day, awesome area at about 10,300'. We had about 10 minutes of no rain, so I quickly snapped these photos of the mountain range.

The hummingbirds were out of control, we put up a feeder, and within minutes they were everywhere. By the second day, it was getting crazy!!!
This picture makes me laugh. My daughters were standing next to the feeder, watching them up close, when one "buzzed them"!!

These two were determined to prove who was boss, all the while one just sat there drinking as fast as possible!!:

Thought this pic was kind of cool:

Came across a couple of churches, no big deal, except these two were a little unique!! This one is perched up on the side of a mountain, not sure how they got everything up to it!!
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/Camp%20Dick/DSC_0201.jpg
I was able to get around to the top of it, so this is looking down on it through the trees:
http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa247/ajknelsen/Camp%20Dick/DSC_0202.jpg
Really cool stone church, cornerstone was dated 1935:

Mama Duck and her offspring in the beaver pond behind our campsite:

This is the reason I am looking for a tight quarters fly fishing rod!!! My buddy and I caught a handful out of this creek, but it was tough hiking and tough fishing!!

Very good, but need to see more of your campsight! Amazing spot, IM me if you ever want to do a joint venture, it is a bit of a drive from Nebraska, but I would love to see things like the churches and the scenery alone! Thanks for posting!
