What brand and model do you guys recomend?? Looking for a good - mid-range gps - direction, turn by turn window/dash mount gps. I have looked at Garmin - tons of model options - yes I want it to talk to me. Willing to spend some but don't need anything top of the line or too advanced.

I have the garmin nuvi 260 . and I bought the same for my son last year for a christmas present . they are great . my two longest trips I used mine on was going to 30hart ( Dwayne) place last year , South Carolina . I also used it for my moose hunt in Newfoundland . I never made a wrong turn. it took me from door to door both trips . they are amazing . my son has found his destination in Philadelphia and also Pittsburgh with his numerous times . he says the same thing door to door .
I've heard , but I DON'T know for sure , that the "tom toms" have a glitch that they don't recognize some of the one way streets , and often try to take you the wrong way . not good if it's true . Jim
