I made a rod rack out of plywood that I would like to mount to the roof (inside) of my fiberglass truck topper. Anyone have experience with this? Should I just drill a pilot hole and use a course threaded screw or sometype of epoxy? Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Thanks.

It sort of depends on how you want to handle it, and what sort of options there are inside the top to fasten to. If you're going to drill, are you thinking it's thick enough to not drill all the way through? You might could get away with some epoxy and just a couple of screws or if there's a lip or ledge inside the top (like maybe where the windows are) maybe you could used that as a mount point. If not, maybe try epoxying a couple of mounting strips (1x2 or 1x3) in place, as they'll have a flat, wide surface to epoxy to, and then after it's set up, mount the rod rack to those boards. Then paint it gloss black and you're set.

If its a fiberglass topper, you will likely have double walled sides and ceiling. This may allow you to tap a hole in the first wall and drop in an anchor. However, if it was me, I'd use an epoxy of some sort.
