Hey guys...I am looking at what I think is a good deal. What few people I have spoken to about it agree. I am looking at a 1990 Toyota Ex Cab 4X4 with matching camper top. 5 speed with a V-6. The truck has all service records including the top end of the motor rebuilt in 06. The trucks body is flawless...garage kept. Total mileage on the truck is 278K but the motor has about 70K on it since the rebuild. I drove it and it seems to still have some pep to it. I have owned an 89 and a 91....had transmission trouble in the 89 and the 91 had a dropped cylinder in it. It was lifted with big tires though.
This truck has brand new Michelin tires and like I said runs like a top with no defects...so......is it worth 2200.00?? I believe it is and in fact I can resell it sight unseen to my cousin if I don't want it. Either way the truck will be mine in a few weeks....

avg price....toyo's even in the late year models fetch pretty high prices...so finding one under 3 grand for some, can be a steal.... though I'd have to see what the chaise looked like...

No rust !!! If thats what you are asking...it was a local truck since it was new.

looks good to me and it already has a lift on it??? to lift my new toyo 6"s ,cost more than that truck sooo i say go for it...

Chris the truck looks good . my neighbor has a 1994 reg cab looks Identical to this one . his is a 4 cyl std trans . it's got to have around 275,000 miles now . it has been a great truck . he is big on maintenance . I think the only thing I've done to the engine is a water pump. at this price if you get a year or two out of it your ok . if I remember right they had a head gasket problem on the v-6 . that's probably why they had the top off the motor . No lift...31x10.50 tires....all stock..

Yes I had to take the 2 I had in for the head gasket recall...for whatever reason the built the top end...The condition of the truck if it last a year or so...I can put in another motor and be good for another long haul!!

The truck is as good as I thought..after driving it a while it rides and drives like new! I am glad I bought it as it will save me big money at the pump .....compare to my Dodge 2500!!

I bought mine about a year ago ,April 2008 . it now has about 11,000 miles on it . I'm very happy with it so far . I don't do many Toyota repairs at my garage. it's usually just basic stuff .from what I see , I think they build a good vehicle . Jim
