First post, so hello all.
I've had my XL cot for about two years and maybe 20 nights on it. The last time I used the cot, with matching 3" pad, it sagged so bad I thought I'd assembled it incorrectly. I checked it out and it was set up fine, but I guess the material has just stretched out. I'm 6'2" and 260lbs which is well within the weight limit. Has anyone else experienced this? And can anyone recommend another cot that doesn't stretch out? I felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. Not fun.

Vapor,
I have tested several cots, and we try to find the perfect balance on stretch vs. tension, your cot SHOULD NOT stretch out so far you feel like your on a hammock! I would reccomend you bring this back for an exchange! Hope this helps!

I have a browning cot that has not stretched out. I paid more for it than other cots on the market. I havent seen that cot for sale anymore and Im not sure if they still sell them. The material on the browning is reinforced.

Thanks for the replies.
CampingPS,
I've had the cot for two years. Isn't it out of warranty? Or will they still exchange/credit it?
winchesterwon,
I found a Slumberjack Browning Cot. Is that the one you are talking about?

It will be up to the customer service department wether or not they will exchange it, but it is a Cabela's product, and if you do not exceed the weight capacity, I do not see why they wouldn't make an exchange!

Not sure if its the same. I tried to find a model number and this is on the hang tag. SJF 50059. Its green on about a foot of each end with a black reinforcing material sewn over the midsection. It has a weight capacity of 325#. I purchased it about 4 years ago.

Hmmm, doesn't sound like a Cabela's XL Cot, which will be Black, 20" high, and steel framed, possibly a Slumberjack cot, would be my guess. Did you buy it at Cabela's? Does it have Cabela's embroidered on it? If you can post a link to a picture that would help me identify it. Thanks, -Joe

It has Browning embroidered with yellow thread on one end of the cot about 12 inches long and the browning logo on the other end. The storage bag is matching green and black with browning and its trademark on it as well. If I had a Cabelas here in NW colorado I would have purchase it from them. Didnt have time to mail order when I bought it. I busted through my old canvas cot. So had to purchase in Grand Junction at one of your competitors.
