Does anyone have any suggestions about bows for small frame ( lt draw wt ) archers? My wife enjoys shooting with me as I practice for deer season, but the bow ( 1995 Oneida ) finally broke a few months back. I need a bow with 30-40# pull at 23" length. I have been looking at entry level bows by Browning and PSE in particular.
Thanks

Glad to hear your wife enjoys archery. Like the other posts on this topic we suggest you go to your local archery shop and let them assist you.

Get the Parker Buckshot package. It is a women's specific design and comes in those draw lengths and weights.
It is the best value out there for a woman's bow.

I just bought the Parker Buckshot Outfitter package for my wife this past weekend. After looking at all the info at the Forums, it was my first choice for her. We went to Gander Mountain in Kenosha where they let her try it out. It fit her really good and she shot it pretty well, considering that she had never shot a compound bow before. Its set at 34 pounds and 26 inches draw length. What we liked about the Parker is we can send it back and have it increased to 40# to 50# for only $50.00.

Glad to hear how you did. It IS important that she like the bow. I hope you both enjoy many years of shooting together. My wife and I shoot as well as two out of three of the kids.
