Rumor has it that the old stand by Coleman fuel is no longer being produced. Now we must buy a "blend" that is 5x the cost. I have been told this at 2 stores now and apparently it has to do with the meth heads refining coleman fuel into some ingreredient they need. Has anyone else seen a lack of fuel or have I been mis-informed. I will never switch to propane but really dont want to burn unleaded if I dont have to. anyone have any more info on this?

I haven't hears this one yet. My local stores are still carrrying coleman fuel currently, but I willbe asking my friends in law enforcement about this happening. In the mean time, I will be buying a couple of extra to keep some on hand. It just burns cleaner than unleaded fuel in my equipment, in my opinion.

I also picked up a few exra. I did call Coleman and they told me that they will be selling it as long as they make products that use it. I guess time will tell if we will have camping fuel in the years to come.

We havea duel fuel Coleman Northstar lamp and have always used unleaded petrol due to the coleman fuel being five times the price of petrol, here in the UK.
We have never had any problems with it.
