Im changing my broad heads this year and i was just wondering which do you all prefer? Now i have been using Wasp jackhammers @125 grain. Well ive noticed several diff. types on the market and I have been considering either Crimpson talons @125 -g- or tha G5 montec's or the strikers. I think that the full stainless steel blades would work well being how it is a solid 3 blade broadhead. Now i like the jackhammers being as to how ive used them for awhile and they expand to 1 3/4" and the ones i want are cutting @ 1 1/8. Alot of diff. in cutting diameter but i still like the thought of a solid 3 blade system where the blades dont break off . If you all dont mind a little input on this sit... im always up for learning something new

For me, I am a HUGE fan of the Magnus Stinger 4-blade. It is a killer and flies very well for me. I use a 100-grainer on a carbon shaft Stalker Extreme arrow with Bohning Blazers.

You can't go wrong with the Montecs, but i would give a hard look at the Muzzy phantoms.

We Call Them T Bombs!! If You Like 125 Gr. I Would Suggest Nap Thunderheads. They Hold Together And Have Done Some Pretty Good Damage On Big Game Such As Elk.

I have to agree Thunderheads are great broadheads and one that I would shoot if I didn't like a cut on impact head.

I shoot 2512s with 5.5" banana cut feathers.[swedged taper].........they will spin a 160 glue-on Snuffer with great accuracy...............and what a hole they make. [deer setup]

So far every broadhead mentioned here would get the thumbs up from me...Thunderheads, Muzzys, Magnus are all great performers and won't break your pocket book....

Now the Montecs, if you don't mind the price there may not be a better 3 blade head out there....they're impressive.

I haven't shot any crimson talons so I can't speak for them...but I've shot and killed stuff with all the others.
