I'm just about to start bowhunting. I'm only twelve so I can only hunt smallgame but Where my grandpa lives I can also go bear and dear hunting. I'm at my grandpa's house quite often I really want to buy just one compond bow. Give me a few suggestions.
P.S. I am more comfortable with an adult size bow.

Some brand of bows are more reliable and powerful. Don't make your decision by brand. Go with what fits you, and not a certain brand. Also don't get the max weight you can pull. Get one that is easy to pull, especially being a beginner.

If you can, go to an archery pro shop. They can "fit" you with a bow (i.e. draw length, weight, and set up). You may have to save a little more but when it comes down to servicing your bow and answering questions, they'll have more answers than a large, chain store would. The pro shop will also, more than likely, let you shoot a couple of bows. If they do, go with the one that feels right in your hand rather than the name on the label.
